Carry-on bags: If you made a reservation against Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, and Mint fare type tickets, you are eligible to take carry-on luggage suitable to fit in the overhead bin and an additional handbag, purse, or laptop bag of your choice. The baggage allowance for your carry-on bags is subject to:

  • Carry-on bags must not exceed 22" L (55.88 cm) x 14" W (35.56 cm) x 9" H (22.86 cm), including wheels and handles.  
  • Personal items must not exceed 17" L (43.2 cm) x 13" W (33 cm) x 8" H (20.32 cm).
  • On a basic blue fare, you can carry just 1 item suitable to fit under the seat in front of you.
  • Checked bags: From booking to boarding, you’re allowed to add checked bags to your travel itinerary. Find the allowed baggage limit for your checked bags at JetBlue:
  • You can have two checked bags with you throughout your journey. 
  • To add a piece of additional luggage, you will be charged the extra fee besides the applicable two checked bags.
  • If your fare type is denied the facility of checked bags, you can make an advance payment for your luggage at the official website or at the kiosk once you reach the airport.
  • Checked bags exceeding 62" (157.48 cm) in overall dimensions (length + width + height) or 50 pounds (22.68 kg) are also applicable to the additional charges.
